We are soliciting in-kind donationsfor the Elmendorf Fitness Center's 2nd Annual Armed Forces Softball Tournament at Elmendorf Air Force Base (AFB) 30 July through 1 August 1999. This event will be open to all active duty personnel assigned in the state of Alaska. We are seeking sponsorship in the following forms. Merchandise such as softballs, softball gloves, bats, batting gloves, and, ball caps. Any combination of money or certificates (equal to $4500) for the purchase of needed equipment. We ar ealso seeking food and beverage donations for approximately 160 participants. We are requesting donations for the purchase of trophies, awards, MVP prizes, and certificates. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. Representation by the sponsor/donor would be accepted and encouraged. Sponsors may set up boothes and dispaly banners at the event. We will accept all or part sponsorship for this event. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsorship/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be recieved no later than 15 July 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government.
