The United States Air Force is requesting proposals to provide interior demolition of approximately 90,000 square feet in Building 1607, Hanscom AFB, MA. The work consists of demolition and disposal of interior partition walls, flooring, ceilings, electrical equipment and wiring, mechanical equipment and piping and related work. The work will include demolition and removal of asbestos containing building material consisting of wallboard, floor tile, ceiling tile and pipe insulation. The project involves all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and performance of all operations required to complete the aforementioned work in accordance with the drawings and specification. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance for this project will be 150 calendar days. All interested parties MUST be registered inthe Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database in order to receive an award. Proposals will be due 30 calendar days after RFP release. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 9 Mar 99.
