This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations to provide, secure and renovate Building 9989, Cape San Blas Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters (Building #2). In general, the construction of Building 9989 consists of the metal fabrications, rough carpentry wood decking, wood siding, interior architectural woodwork, exterior architectural wookwork, finish carpentry, insulation, flashing, gutters and downspouts, firestopping, sealants, wood door frames, flush wood doors, hardware, wood window renovation, glass and glazing, gypsum drywall, title, wood flooring refinishing, special coatings, painting, toiler and bath accessories signs, mechanical systems (supply and exhaust), heating and air conditioning, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, lighting,fire alarm, and other electrical systems. OPTION #1: Building 9988, Cape San Blas Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters (Building #1) shall be relocated on the site as indicated in the contract documents. OPTION #2: Building 9988, Cape San Blas Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters (Building #1) shall be documented, demolished and removed from the site as indicated in the contract documents. The documentation requirement s for the demolition of Building #1 (9988) shall be done in accordance with the Historic Preservation Act of 1966, "16 USC 470h-2", Section 110 "b", Level II. The guide lines are available through the Florida Department of State, Division of Historical resources. Bid opening of 12 Apr 99 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE.
