NONE, NONE. E-MAIL: HYPERLINK mailto:edmondjp@navair.navy.mil,
HYPERLINK mailto:edmondjp@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems
Command intends to award a contract for the procurement of up to 30
Acoustic Data Recorders (ADR) for the P-3C Update III aircraft. These
ADR's will record digital buoy data as well as analog buoy data. The
recorder must follow the commercially supported DTF-1 recording
standard. Specifically, the contractor will be responsible for all the
non-recurring hardware engineering efforts and recurring production
tasks required to support integration of the ADR into the Acoustic
Subsystem on the P-3C Update III aircraft. Due to commonality with the
P-3C Block Modification Upgrade Program (BMUP) ADR, NAVAIR intends to
negotiate with DRS, Precision Echo, Inc. since it is currently
integrating this recorder on P-3C BMUP. Posted 02/11/99 (W-SN297440).
