has a requirement for the upgrade of data processing, archiving, and
dissemination software currently used on PC's in a DOS-based
configuration to a Windows configuration. In addition, software used on
these systems will have to be made Y2K compliant. The work requires
expert knowledge of C++ programming for Windows-based applications,
FORTRAN and C programming languages, and Inprise's C++ Builder.
Performance period is for six (6) months from date of award. Work shall
be performed at USGS facility in Golden, Colorado. Interested parties
shall complete the Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 99CRQQ0089 on the
Electronic Commerce Web Site at the following address:
