Live Training provides the Life Cycle Contractor Support of Tactical Engagement, Instrumentation, and Ranges training devices and systems supported by the U.S. Army Simulation and Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM). Requirements include the operations, maintenance, support services, and integration efforts for the Combat Training Centers (CTCs); the Precision Range Integrated Maneuver Exercise (PRIME) mobile instrumentation suite, the Aircraft Survivability Equipment Trainer IV (ASET IV), the Area Weapons Scoring System (AWSS), the Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) Systems and Devices located worldwide, and the Tank Weapons Gunnery Simulation System/Precision Gunnery System (TWGSS/PGS)(TWGSS/PGSS is a future requirement.) TES includes the family of Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES), MILES II; Simulated Area Weapons Effects (SAWE)/MILES II; Air Ground Engagement System (AGES), and AGES II. Major tasks are: computer system administration and operations; hardware and software engineering, system modifications; integration; computer/electronic equipment operations; systems and component maintenance, Training Analysis and Feedback (TAF) operators/computer operators, battlefield effects; wheel & track vehicle maintenance, supply support operations; storage, training, and other support services. The services will be provided for: the National Training Center (NTC) Fort Irwin, CA; Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Fort Polk, LA; Combat Maneuver Training Center (CMTC) Hohenfels, Germany; the PRIME at Fort Hood, Texas, the AWSS at CONUS and OCONUS ranges, and the TES devices worldwide.
