amendment to CEC BOA CBD announcement issued 28 January 1999. The
synopsis is changed to read as follows. The Naval Sea System Command
intends to issue on multiple occasions under a new Basic Ordering
Agreement N00024-99-G-5112, with Raytheon Systems Corporation, St.
Petersburg Operation, 1501 72nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710,
orders for: -- Data, stock point operations, technical manuals and
Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) to support Cooperative
Engagement Capability (CEC) equipments and computer program. --
Material and services required for evaluation and implementation of
equipment and existing computer program changes as a result of approved
Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) in support of Cooperative Engagement
Capability (CEC). -- Material and services required for the
fabrication, installation, checkout, testing and repair of any Field
Change Kit, ORDALT or equipment associated with the Cooperative
Engagement Capability (CEC), ancillary equipment and existing computer
programs as may be required. -- Repairs, including emergency repairs,
modification/alterations, overhauls, refurbishment, and maintenance of
the above described equipment and existing computer programs including
all material and services incidental to such work, such as repair
parts (including those needed to maintain and support equipment and
ORDALT Kits), components, accessories, documentation, associated tools
and necessary packing, packaging and marking. -- Spares, including
complete sets, and/or individual installation parts shall be specified
in each order. -- Material and services for modification of
Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), associated equipment, and
existing computer programs in residence at field activities and Land
Based Test Sites. This includes the necessary acquisition and
fabrication of material, services for installation, checkout, testing
or repair to conduct modifications. -- Material and services of a
non-recurring nature to establish a repair capability. Included are
development of diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures, procurement
of initial inventory of components for conducting repairs, and
procurement and/or development of support and test equipment. Orders
will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Raytheon is the sole
producer of the Cooperative Engagement Capability equipment, and
possess the unique experience and knowledge to perform work that is
required by the Government. See Numbered Note(s): 22 and 26. ****
