notice of intent that the U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2,
plans to negotiate a sole source contract with Morton Buildings, Inc.,
for an addition to the pole barn building currently at the site. This
project is located at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Roswell,
Chaves County, New Mexico. The new addition shall be 48' x 85' and
shall match the eve height, bay widths and wall, roof, and trim panel
color. No footings or concrete foundations are required; the supporting
treated timber columns shall be buried 84" below grade and set on
poured-in-place readi-mix concrete pads. The proposed building plans
shall bear the seal of a Professional Engineer, registered in the State
of New Mexico, thereby certifying that the structural design meets the
requirement of bearing 12 pounds per square foot live roof load, 100
miles per hour wind load, and meet the other specifications. A payment
bond or other form of payment security will be required. The SIC is
1542. Any other source able to meet the requirements may request the
referenced Request For Quotes and submit an offer by the due date. This
is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than
