SPAWARSYSCEN-Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for contractor supplied relocatable modular building components, tension membrane covered buildings,and building systems to be completely assembled, installed and ready to use by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center-Charleston SPAWARSYSCEN-Charleston), PO Box 190022, N. Charleston, SC 29419-9022. A Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract is anticipated. Contract period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option periods, to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3448, with a size standard of 500 employees. Place of performance/delivery will be the Naval Weapons Station-South Annex, N. Charleston, SC. This RFP will be transmitted via the Internet on the World Wide Web (WWW). The RFP/Solicitation will only be available by WWW access through the SPAWARSYSCEN-Charleston On-Line Contracts Information System. The Uniform Resources Locator (URL) address is: http://www-chas.spawar.navy.mil/. The RFP will be available on/about 22 Feb 1999. Once the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates/amendments to any and all documents.
