Repair/Replace pipeline system to include all required sectioning
valves, pressure relief valves, drain valves, air bleed valves,
expansion loops, cleaning and monitoring equipment (pipeline pig),
anchor points and support. The pipeline run under ground will use a
double wall pipe system with leak detection and penetrations of dikes
of containment basins shall use leak free pipe sleeves. The award will
be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude: $500,000 -- $1,000,000. The
anticipated performance period is between July 1999 through September
2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
considered. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short and
shipment of materials can only take place in June/July. Special Note:
All discussion leading to contract award shall take place at the
Contracting Office located in the Embassy of the United States of
America, Copenhagen, Denmark. All parties responding to this synopsis
and any costs incurred as a result of subsequent discussions prior to
award of contract are the sole responsibility of the interested
