Department of State, Bureau for International Narcotics and Law
Enforcement Affairs, Office of Resource Management, has a requirement
for an individual to provide maintenance instructor/advisory services
at the American Embassy in Bogota. The NAS UH-60L helicopter
maintenance instructor/advisor to the Colombian National Police Air
Service (CNP/ARAVI) Black Hawk Program will report to the NAS Program
Officer, who manages the ARAVI program. The incumbent works closely
with the UH-60L pilot instructor/advisor, the aviation advisor, the
general maintenance advisor and the logistics advisor. This assignment
is for one year with the option to extend the term. PSCs are treated
on par with other USG employees. Minimum qualifications include: must
be a U.S. citizen, subject to State Department security clearance
(secret level); fluency in spoken and written Spanish (minimum FSI
level 3/3 preferred); completion of high school is required -- college
is highly desirable; 15 years of helicopter maintenance courses;
previous US military work experience with UH-60L maintenance program;
experience in teaching helicopter maintenance courses; knowledge of USG
military maintenance manuals, rules and regulations. SF-171 required to
