The Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) is requesting offerors to submit priced offers and other proposal information in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) N00104-99-R-C903 for Life Rafts to replace the MK 6 Life Raft. A further description of the item being procured and the estimated yearly quantities can be found in sections B and C of the RFP. The resulting Firm Fixed Price Requirement contract is for a one (1) year period with the option to extend the contract term for four (4) additional consecutive annual ordering periods. The total maximum ordering period is five (5) years. The Government intends to accept the proposal that provides the "Best Value" to the Government. Award will be based on a tradeoff of the factors and subfactors found in Section M. The RFP may be requested in a paper form from the Contract Specialist or from the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Virtual Bid Room (VBR).
