additional sources for meeting the Army's maintenance and logistics
support needs for Generation II image intensifier night vision systems.
This effort will be a one year base with two option years, in order to
provide interim support during the transition from Sacramento Air
Logistics Center (SM-ALC) to Tobyhanna Army Depot (TOAD).Services will
range from field service, preventive maintenance and evaluation, depot
repair and overhaul, system upgrades, spares supply and management, to
transportation, record keeping and training. The systems to be
supported are the AN/PVS-4, AN/TVS-5 and the AN/VVS-2(V)(1A, 2A, 3, &
4). Suppliers capable of furnishing these services must so indicate, by
writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II, Building
1201W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include
documentation to describe the contractor's experience with the
aforementioned systems and subsystems. This shall include a listing of
all previous contracts(quantity, date, contract number) for night
vision equipment or night vision maintenance services; a listing of the
qualified personnel and their background. The response must also show
that adequate plant facilities (equipment, tooling and space) to enable
him to perform the required functions are currently available. For more
