Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Defense Production Act Team (AFRL/MLMP) intends to issue Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) 99-3-MLK for Silicon Carbide (SiC) Substrates. The objective of the program is to establish viable, world class, domestic mechant manufacturing capacities that are responsive to customer requirements with respect to quality, price and delivery, for large (~75mm), electronic grade SiC substrates. Release of the BAA is anticipated for 5 Apr 99, and proposals will be due 35 calendar days thereafter.
