This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a potential sole source acquisition. This constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) -- 99T0077. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.5. This is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification code is 3825 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure on a competitive basis, a non-personal service to include all parts, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide and install one (1) Landis and Staefa Apogee console to replace one (1) existing insight console in the Energy Management & Control Systems (ECMS) at Bolling AFB, DC. Contractor shall provide for installation by others, Year 2000 compliant Apogee modular building control (MBC) panels, software, and firmware to cover fifty-five (55) Landis & Staefa DDC control panels. In addition, contractor shall provide initial training for conversion of one building. Contractor shall provide for installation by other devices for conversion to Fiber optic cable of existing Landis & Staefa trunks between buildings.
