R -- INCIDENT CLERICAL ASSISTANCE (NOT LIMITED TO FINANCE OPERATIONS ASSISTANCE) SOL R6-99-108 DUE 031599 POC Procurement and Property Management, (503) 808-2367 (solicitation requests); (503) 808-2365 (FAX requests, PREFERRED); (503) 808-2384 (technical questions) Multiple-award, multi-year call-when-needed contracts for clerical services to assist in interagency incidents (fire, flood, etc.) on lands within the boundaries of USDA Forest Service Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. (Region 1: Montana, Northern Idaho, North Dakota, Northwestern South Dakota; Region 2: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming; Region 3: Arizona, New Mexico; Region 4: Southern Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Western Wyoming; Region 5: California; Region 6: Oregon, Washington). Services include, but are not limited to: (1) equipment time recording: gathering contract equipment and contract personnel work time and related payment information from time keepers and managers located on the incident, entering this information onto agency payment forms, preparing invoices for payment; (2) personnel time recording: gathering personnel work time and related payment information for agency personnel from supervisors and managers on the incident, entering this information onto agency fire time reports; and (3) miscellaneous, related clerical services, such as, but not limited to, assisting with commissary record keeping. Services will be performed on-site, in a camp setting. The duration of each incident varies from a few days to several weeks (the contractor may rotate personnel during long assignments).
