This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The following items are required: 1 each: Oce copier/plotter, model 9476 or equal per the following: large format printer copier, for plotting and copying all standard sizes up to A0. Zoom 25% -- 400%. Closed toner system. All media types supported including paper, film, and vellum. Support formats: HP-GL/2, Raster, Calcomp, PS2. Front panel display, RS232 Cent Interface. Windows 95/98/NT driver. Plotter and copier shall be physically separate devices which can be located up to 10 feet away from each other. To include 16MB memory expansion for system, and plotter control software, which must be a pc-based program/windows based that will allow set up and control of plotter/copier through a serial port. 1 year: Hardware maintenance on system, for 24000 linear foot usage. Maintenance to include monthly cleaning of system, adjustments and consumables, exclusive of media. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-10. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3579 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA Lewis Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Building 21, Cleveland, OH 44135 is required within 6 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above may be mailed or faxed to the identified point of contact, by the date/time specified and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
