POC Bryan Salas The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National
Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a
requirement to purchase a 50ML sample loop injector, a flow cell, two
motorvalves, an electrode, an injection valve, an inlet tubing kit, and
a Low (0-5 MPa) Pressure Liquid Chromatograph system consisting of the
workstation, low pressure gradient system, computer hardware, and
controlling software. This system will be used for analysis and
purification of various proteins. The detailed technical specifications
and list of requested items will be provided in the Request for Quote
package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if
timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All responses shall
be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold for Commercial purchases
up to $5 million. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ)
NIH-NIDDK-99-425 will be available fifteen (15) days after the
publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due
(10) ten days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date
is March 4, 1999. Requests for copies of the RFQ must be submitted in
writing and may be FAXED to (301)480-4226. Quotations must be
submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive
& Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Building 45, Room 6AN32, 45 Center Drive,
