required: (1) develop a high energy/density TPE based gun propellant
for improve performance, low vulnerability and good mechanical
properties at hot and cold temperatures; (2) eliminate process solvents
in the manufacture of the new family of TPE based gun propellants; (3)
eliminate the use of environmentally hazardous or toxic ingredients in
the manufacture of the new family of TPE based gun propellants. The US
Army intends to solicit and negotiate with Aerojet Company,
Sacramento, California. This contract action is based on the authority
of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one
responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy
agency requirements". This notice of intent is not a request for
