Sources are being sought and information requested to assist Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane with an ongoing business case analysis. The information gathered is for planning purposes only and will not be used to form a binding contract. The area of business being studied is: Receipt, Segregation, Storage and Issue of Ammunition, Explosives and Other Energetics as prescribed within the Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall provide and manage all personnel, material, and travel to perform the tasks associated with this functions. The place of performance will be, Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. Personnel required include: Supervisory Material Handler and Material Handler. Services shall be performed in accordance with a Performance Work Statement. The information that is gathered will be used in a comparison to determine the most efficient method of doing business. All information that is shared will be kept confidential. Information will be compared with current government rate, private industry and rates mandated by the Department of Labor. Site visits are not being scheduled at this time. The necessity of a site visit will be determined after the information gathering process is complete.
