The contract period will be for one year with four option years. These items are NOT classified as hazardous waste by the EPA (40 CFR part 261). The material involved is unused, unopened; off-specification expired shelf life pharmaceuticals. Disposal of this material is regulated as a Residual Waste R311 in the State of Pennsylvania. The contractor shall submit appropriate license's and permits with his offer. This includes the infectious and chemotherapeutic transporters license, and state and federal permits for incinerator.
