The purpose of this amendment is to makes changes/clarifications to the synopsis/solicitation based on up-dated information, and questions that have been received. Changes follow: 1. The date for receipt of offers is extended from 19 February 1999 to 22 February 1999. The time and place remain unchanged. 2. Actor's Guild members are required to ensure a minimum level of professionalism. The relative level of supervision will be such that extensive ad-lib skills are required to create the required scenario. 3. In paragraph 3.5 the statement that " the demographics of the remaining role players may be at random" is hereby changed to: "The demographics of the remaining role players shall be at a minimum of 75% female." 4. Paragraph 3.3 is hereby changed to read as follows: "The government will train role players on-site for two (2) days, scheduled 8 March 1999 and 10 March 1999. The first day of training, 8 March 1999 will begin at 0700 and go through 1630. The first day of training will be located at Oakland, CA at the former Naval Oaknoll Hospital. The first day will consist of circuit training in the morning and classroom and observation sessions in the afternoon. The second day of training, 10 March 1999, will begin at 0700 and go through 1630. The second day of training will consist of full dress rehearsal/practical exercises located at Fort Ord, CA. The role players shall play their assigned roles for four (4) full days from 1100 through 1630 on 14 March 1999; 0700 through 1630 on 15 -- 17 March 1999; and 0700 through 1200 on 18 March 1999." 5. The places of performance is hereby designated as Oakland, CA at the former Naval Oaknoll Hospital, and Fort Ord, CA. Due to logistical considerations, players from the Oakland area are required.
