Flag breakbulk and containerized ocean and intermodal services for the carriage of Department of Defense (DoD) cargo between points in CONUS and the Azores. 2. The period of service is a two (2) year firm period commencing 08 November 1999 through 07 November 2001 and a one (1) year option period commencing 08 November 2001 through 07 November 2002. 3. Potential offerors must offer viable self-sustaining operation that can provide and maintain a regularly scheduled liner service. 4. The RFP is expected to be released by 30 April 1999.
