PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and necessary services the following scope of work located on Elmendorf AFB, Alaska in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. Work consists of but not limited to: remove the old approach light system and install a new Dual Mode High Intensity Approach Lighting System on the West End of the 05 Runway (the system shall be a 3000 ft long array of lights), along with a separate airfield lighting power center with backup diesel generator. Install an Airfield Lighting Computer Control System. Construct 22'x26' unfinished addition with water and sewer sub-ins to the airfield lighting vault and install wireless modem monitoring system for each of the four Barrier Arrester visual alarms. Magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Solicitation will be available on or about 4 March 1999 with an estimated receipt of proposal date of 6 April 1999. Packages will besent upon written request. The limited supply of packages shall be issued on a first come first serve basis. Specifications and drawings will be available on CD ROM only. Drawings are on Autocad 12.
