Contract options include repairs to a 110-ft length of the West Pier at its north end. Repairs would be limited to the concrete cap of the pier which has severe concrete spalling and a very uneven top surface. Proposed repairs for the West Pier consist of a one-foot thick concrete overlay with short lengths of steel sheet pile attached to the vertical faces of the concrete pier cap to function as permanent concrete forms. Options for this item include construction of bollards and additional features to the fendering system. No charges for these documents is required. NOTE: Documents will be available on CDROM only.
