Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks bids for the repair of marine structures at Matagorda Island National Wildlife Refuge. Work consists of removal and disposal of existing seawall and boat docks. Contractor shall perform all work for top soil removal and disposal, grading, excavation, borrow, embankment, and compaction for furnishing and installation of replacement seawalls, breakwater structures, boat docks, dolphins, tie backs, and pressure treated lumber. Work, also, includes clearing and grubbing, removal of surface debris, trees, shrubs, grass, and other plant life. All construction debris shall be removed off the Island. The project is located in Calhoun County, Texas. The price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid, performance and payment bonds will be required. This SIC is 1629.
