Project QJKL 95-0016A/B/C, Maintain/Repair/Alter Munitions Storage and Maintenance Bldgs 617 and 620 includes constructing a brick exterior and support system, installing two overhead doors, removing one concrete ramp and installing two new stair accesses, removing an interior masonry wall and replacing with a full height wire mesh partition, modify existing electrical and intrusion detection/communication system for Bldg 617. Construct a new 300 sq ft block and brick structure (Bldg 620), slab-on-grade with apron, install lightening protection system, interior grounding system, underground electrical, potable water, sanitary and communications systems. Additional work includes two inch bituminous overlay, driveway entrance work and installing a new fence gate. The estimated magnitude of construction is $250,000 to $500,000. Performance period is 120 calendar days. SIC code is 1541. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued o/a 3 March 99 and opened o/a 1 April 99.
