Franzel, (703) 602-8000 The Naval Sea Systems Command wishes to identify potential sources interested in the production of "Nulka" MK 53 Decoy Launching System (DLS) Modification Kits, each consisting of a Decoy Launch Processor, Processor Power Supplies, Launcher Assemblies, Junction Boxes, and a Breakout Box. In addition, Installation and Check-out Kits (INCOs), Cable Assemblies and production engineering and technical services for the Program Executive Office, Theater Surface Combatants will be procured. The MK 53 DLS is a deck mounted, mortar type, countermeasure system designed to dispense a variety of anti-ship missile decoys. The total requirement is for approximately 51 MK 53 DLS modification kits, consisting of a base requirement of 10 DLS modification kits plus four option years requiring approximately nine to 11 DLS modification kits in each year.
