The United States Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is seeking to locate track sources for PM Crusader and PM Abrams that have off-the-shelf / demonstrated 5000 mile durability combat vehicle track. PM Crusader and PM Abrams are investigating to see if any 25" width track, capable of supporting a maximum vehicle weight of 70 U.S. tons, has demonstrated a 5000 mile durability at or above 65.6 US tons. The track and pads should have run/tested to not exceed 20% track shoe replacement and 40% track pad replacement before going 5000 miles at or above 65.6 US tons. The overall mileage scenario is the following: 21% paved road, 45% gravel road, 17% level cross-country and 17% hilly cross-country. This request is made with the understanding that these requirements are subject to change at any time, are in no way binding to the Government, and are not to be considered final requirements.
