The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to procure the unlimited licensed use of the Small Computer System Interface Module Interface Device (ScsiMID) Application Programming Interface (API) Library Software and Micro Module Interface Device (MicroMID) interface capability. Both items are required for the Navy Portable Flight Planning Software (N-PFPS), and will be procured on a sole source basis with Orbital Sciences Corporation, Fairchild Defense Division. Orbital is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of both items. Orbital has unique and peculiar knowledge of the software designs and the support associated therewith, and Orbital has possession of all documentation and drawings required for this effort.
