Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to procure 227,800 manhours of services for logistics and support systems to be performed on ships, boats, submarines, service crafts and shore sites. The engineering and technical services include research, analysis, design, engineering, maintenance, repair, installation and logistic services in connection with assigned tasks for shipboard and shore based hull, electrical, mechanical, structural, propulsion and electronic equipment. Offerors facilities are required to have Confidential security clearance and controlled access work areas. It is anticipated award will result in an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract for a period of 60 months. This requirement shall be solicited on an unrestricted basis and the SIC Code is 3731. Approximate issue date is 18 March 1999.
