This acquisition includes the development of management tools and techniques to assess strategic goals and objectives, assistance in accomplishing performance objectives, the analysis of performance requirements, the development of recommendations for work plans and work breakdown structures, analysis and documentation of existing information, the application of management principles and techniques to specific technical program management issues, and maintenance and engineering services for the AEGIS financial and scheduling management information systems. Period of performance will be five (5) years (including options) commencing 1 October 1999. A cost plus fixed fee level of effort type contract is anticipated. It is estimated that the technical effort for this contract will average 25 technical man-years per year. This solicitation is a follow-on to Contract N00178-96-C-2004 awarded to KPMG Peat Marwick LLP, 17010 Dahlgren Road, Suite 11, King George, VA. An Organizational Conflict of Interest Clause as defined by FAR 9.505-3 and FAR 9.5.5-4 will be included in the RFP and resultant contract. The contractor is required to have a facility cleared to SECRET located within one-hour travel time from Dahlgren, VA. The SIC Code is 8742 and the FSC Code is R408.
