Mallamo; Contract Specialist; 618-256-9297 Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, service and supervision necessary to repair shoulders, runway 14R/32L, at Scott AFB IL 62225-5015. The principle items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: rotomill existing asphalt/concrete at selected taxiway locations; saw cut asphalt 1-1/2" deep and 3" wide from runway edge and at selected taxiway locations; patch top of existing taxiway and runway light pedestals with an approved concrete patching material where new asphalt pavements or asphalt overlays are installed; excavate and install new 25' wide asphalt shoulders on both sides of runway and new 14' wide asphalt shoulders on both sides of taxiway "G"; overlay asphalt at selected taxiways adjacent to runway; install and remove silt fence for erosion, seed and fertilize; remove rubber from runway in accordance with specifications and plans.
