PM GBCS/AQF/Prophet intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Delfin Systems of Santa Clara, CA. The contractor will be responsible for providing hardware, software, and technical services necessary to conduct a demonstration of their DF set. The contractor must prepare test hardware needed for the demonstration and must then support the demonstration itself. The DF system is one already procurred by SOCOM and DA for use as a manportable system. Delfin Systems is under SOCOM contract USZA22-98-98-0006. This current requirement builds on Delfin System's previous work. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement, to include descriptive literature and pricing, within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals; however all proposals received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
