Administration(ITA)/Tourism Industries intends to negotiate on a sole
source basis with OAG Worldwide located in Oak Brook, Illinois to
provide FY 1999 monthly "Current Day Schedule" data tapes/files which
are used by Tourism Industries to select a sample for the ITA, Tourism
Industries Survey of International Travelers or In-Flight Survey. The
flights for each participating carrier in the In-Flight Survey Program
are identified from an Official Airline Guide (OAG) magnetic data tape
of scheduled airline flights. OAG is the only source of electronic
data that provides flight schedules for all international flights
departing from the United States. DOC/ITA/Tourism Industries intends to
place an order with OAG if no offers are received proving to be more
favorable to the government. This is a notice of intent and cannot be
considered a solicitation, therefore no solicitation package exist.
Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. (Reference
