This synopsis issued to conduct market research, identify sources, and request capability statements for the anticipated acquisition of Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board (DODMERB). This requirement is for medical examinations for United States Service Academies, ROTC Scholarships, and Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences personnel. The requirement consists of providing professional medical services necessary to accomplish complete medical, dental, audiometric, and optometric examinations. A draft performance work statements is available upon request. Examinations average approximately 500 per month. Capability statements are requested and should contain information in the following areas: 1) Business size status; 2) List of current or previous similar contracts to include POC names and numbers; 3) past performance information; 4) specifics on contract type and contract surveillance methods used on current or previous contracts; 5) special or unique contractor qualifications; and 6) comments on the draft statement of work. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8099 and the business size standard is 3.5M. Response to this synopsis will be evaluated to assist the Government in determining solicitation and performance work statement development and requirements and to determine if there are any small businesses capable of performance.
