Sponsorship opportunity is for the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base 1999 Pet Fair. This event hosted annually by the base's Veterinary Services Clinic will be held on Saturday, May 22, 1999 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event typically attracts 250 or more pet owners, for a day of contests, demonstrations and a 5-kilometer pet fun run. Sponsors have the potential of reaching the owners of over 7,500 privately owned animals, which receive care from the base's Veterinary Services each year. This is an excellent opportunity for manufacturers, distributors and retailers of pet associated products to reach their target market at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Sponsors will receive on base exposure through pre-event promotions, which will begin in late April 1999. Print media exposure for this event has the potential of reaching Wright-Patterson's primary customer base of over 20,000 employees (military and civilian) and our secondary customer base of nearly 114,000 family members and retirees. Sponsor opportunities exist in the form of in-kind products and services, financial support, and donations. Event requirements include awards/trophies/ribbons and participant t-shirts. Sponsor benefits include logo placement on promotional material printed after acceptance of contract, on-site sampling/promotions prior to and during the event, signage and displays at the event.
