February 19, 1999 The Corporation for National and Community Service, a wholly-owned Government Corporation, intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide sleeping rooms, meeting space and meals for AmeriCorps VISTA Pre-Service Orientation on April 20-22,1999. The following will be required: Beginning at 10:30 a.m. Registration area in the lobby of the facility with 5 large tables. Dinner in the main dining area (served at 6:00 p.m.) for approximately 120 persons first and second day. Breakfast at 7:00 a.m., for days 2 and 3, (120 people). Lunch at 11:30 a.m., for all 3 days (120 people). Morning breaks day 2 & 3 (120 people). The morning breaks shall consist of coffee, tea and punch. The afternoon breaks, of punch and light snacks. Afternoon breaks days 1 and 2 (120 people). 25% of all meals are estimated to be kosher or vegetarian. Lodging: 2 nights stay for 60 doubles and 20 singles. One large meeting room for approximately 150 people (classroom style); 4 -- 5 breakout rooms will be required to accommodate 4 rounds of 10 at round tables. Audiovisual equipment to consist of: one (1) telephone at the registration desk; one (1) microphone and four (4) flip charts in each of breakout rooms all week; one (1) monitor and VCR. Facility must meet and comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) Regulations. All meeting rooms and dinning facilities must be smoke free.
