Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Renovate Chapel One, Phase 2 and 3, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operation in connection with Renovate Chapel One, Phase 2 and 3, Eglin AFB FL. This is a "Best Value" Contract. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. In general, the work will consist of: Removal and replacement of interior finish systems; Removal of existing diffusers and replacement of the same in new ceiling; Installing new electric water cooler; Removal of existing kitchen fixtures and installation of new fixtures connecting to existing plumbing lines; Existing lighting shall be upgraded; Existing fire alarm devices and circuitry shall be upgraded. Performance period is 150 calendar days. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of thecontractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and perform all operation in accordance with the plans and specifications. Proposal opening of 20 Apr 1999 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
