The description follows: The U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks bids for the repair of storm damaged roads at Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. Work consists of: removal and disposal of asphalt, removal (rotomilling)100 square yards of pavement, and saw cutting 100 linear feet; 1,000 cubic yard of unclassified excavation; 1,200 cubic yards of unclassified borrow; 7,800 square yards of subgrade preparation; placement of about 10,000 tons of hot mix asphaltic concrete, 500 cubic yards of pulverizing and placing of existing asphalt; placement of 2,800 tons of aggregate base course. Work, also, includes installation of traffic signs and striping of approximately 15,000 linear feet of roadway. Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge is located in Hidalgo County Texas.
