Spectrometer System from Varian, 505 Julie Road, Sugar Land, TX 77478,
from its GSA Schedule Contract GS-00F-4773A. Open Market items needed
to supplement the system are as follows: Aerotrap Desorber Model 6000,
hand held controller for the Aerotrap 6000; Aerotrap 6000 installation
kit; 3800 gc to sample intro; Model 1079 capillary injection for MS,
P&T, EFC; Model 1079 capillary injection for MS with EFC; Chromatoprobe
kit; TCD capillary make-up gas 3800; carrier gas fillter/oxygen trap;
column oven cryogenics 3800,LCO2 (to 65C); Multi-regent CI module for
3800 GC/MS; Dell Computer for Saturn; Log No. FXS cust. Specd. GC
factory modif; GC passthrough; installation of each standalone; service
contract GC/MS system; service contract Genesis headspace autosampler;
service contract Aerotrap 6000 Thermal Desorber; Course in basic
techniques of GC/MS; Saturn GCMS Passthrough CDS Analytical 1500 valve
pyroprobe interface; NIST98, NIST & Saturn format; Ion Gauge Saturn
2000, factory installed; Silchrom Electrodes Saturn 2000, factory
installed. This requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis
from Varian, as these OM items must be installed in the Spectrometer at
the manufacturer's plant. It is anticipated that a fixed price purchase
order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). A
written RFQ will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a
