This notice is being issued by Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC), management and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, South Carolina. The purpose of this notice is to determine public interest in partnering with WSRC to further develop an Interactive Virtual Reality Process Control/Monitoring, Predictive, and Training application. This application utilizes Interactive Virtual Reality to reduce user/analyst/trainee information overload and enhance understanding of system interactions. Developed by WSRC, this invention provides a novel means of graphically presenting the interactions of multiple variables and variable dependencies in various Interactive Virtual Reality Worlds from archived, real time, or simulated data or a combination thereof. This application can be stand alone for controlling and monitoring a system/process or in combination with an Intranet or Internet. This application may be used with physical processes such as 1) aprocessing plant or telecommunication switching station or 2) for abstract processes such as project management or cash flow analysis. This partnering may be in the form of a license, including exclusive license, a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement, a joint proposal for government-sponsored funding opportunities, or other appropriate arrangements. Respondents will be provided with a technical brief and instructions for preparing and submitting a plan for pursuing technology development.
