B -- MARINE CORPS RESEARCH UNIVERSITY POC Sandra Walker, Code 891, (912)439-6773 The Marine Corps Material Command intends to award a contract to the Pennsylvania State University to provide the full range of academic research, engineering and education support for the U.S. Marine Corps, specifically, for the Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), the Marine Corps Material Command (MARCORMATCOM) and Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC). The University will be tasked with various efforts in the areas of research, engineering, logistics, management, medical, legal, environmental policy and distance learning capabilities. Each of these capabilities is determined to be essential to support current and future weapon systems, support systems and personnel management programs managed by a variety of different technical and management organizations within the Marine Corps. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement.
