Dept of Commerce/NOAA/NOS/Sustainable Seas Expeditions proposes to
negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Christina Claire Johnson,
Santa Barbara, CA. To provide project support services for the
Sustainable Seas Expeditions Project for partnership effort to use
manned submersibles to explore the coastal waters of the United States,
with emphasis of the nation's National Marine Sanctuaries. The goals of
the program are to create awarness of the inextricable link between
human health and ocean health, to inspire an ocean ethic, to assist in
the development of ocean monitoring sites. The expeditions project
support will include the following activities: 1. Creat and maintain
master database and sub databases for research and education project
supported by SSE. 2. Creat and maintain database for contact points and
mailing list. 3. Design and maintain EXCEL spreadsheets for tracking
all NOAA and NGS project expenses independently. 4. Produce and
distribute meeting notes. 5. Produce periodic reports in compliance
with NGS protocol and NOAA protocol separately. 6. Process request for
information of SSE both technical and general in scope. 7. Coordinate
conference, and meetings arranging schedules, conferencing facilities
and travel for technical advisors and project staff. 8. Serve as
initial point of contact for various Federal, State, and local
government agencies as well as NGO's non-profit organizations, and the
general public regarding SSE. Vendors who believe they can provide the
required services are invited to submit information as to their
capabilities and any other pertinent data to the address above, to be
received no later than 15 days after the data of this notice, for
Agency evaluation. No solicitation document exists, therefore, a
request for such a document will not be considered. Award will be made
