MARCH 3, 1999 Two state-of-the-art computer courses will be offered by
Fairfax Electronic Commerce Resource Center and held at George Mason
University's Telework and Training Center. The Internet as a Business
Tool: Learn how to develop a website for on-line discussion areas,
order forms, transaction processing, security, tracking customer site
visits and more. Internet protocols, hardware, software, navigation and
services to connect to the Internet will also be highlighted. This
class will be taught by Olga Maddox, an instructor for Fairfax
Electronic Commerce Resource Center, from 9:00-12:00pm on March 3, 1999
at the George Mason University's Telework and Training Center, 4031
University Drive, Suite 110, Fairfax, VA 22030. Web Based Publishing:
Introduction to basic processes required for publishing a web page.
Common HTML, page set up, working with texts, adding links, working
with lists, inserting images, changing backgrounds, getting feedback
and using HTML Editors will all be emphasized. This introductory class,
being taught by Carol Magnone Kerrigan, Dimensions International, from
1:00-4:00pm on March 3, 1999 at George Mason University's Telework and
Training Center, 4031 University Drive, Suite 110, Fairfax, VA 22030.
