The requirement is for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Personal Property Shipments. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Areas of coverage include specified counties in Southern Tennessee, North Alabama and Central Alabama. Period of performance shall include a base year effort and two twelve month options. TWO-STEP BID procedures shall be utilized for this acquisition. Step-One shall be issued as a Letter Request For Technical Proposal (LTFTP). Only offerors that submit technically acceptable proposals in Step-One will be permitted to participate in Step-Two. The LTFTP shall be issued on or about 15 March 1999.
