On a sole source basis under contract N00019-98-C-0156, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with GEC Marconi Hazeltine, Electronics Systems Division, 450 E. Pulaski Road, Greenlawn New York 11740-1606 to acquire five (5) each Mode S, Mode 5 and Target Data Extractor boards and Mode S receivers for the Digital Interrogator (DI) program. These items are required for Government testing to validate the growth capability required by the original DI competition, integration testing with other existing Navy IFF processing systems, and in preparation for future potential Navy Combat Information Center upgrade requirements.
