Must be digital scientific echosounder system complete with transducer, surface interface, sounder control (including ADP hardware and analysis software), cables, and all necessary hardware. The system will be used to remote collect and record acoustic information. System will be the first used on headrope of a standard survey trawl used for groundfish assessment and will be used to collect information in bottom type classification in the Gulf of Alaska and Aleutian Islands. System must be capable of recording digitize acoustic information at the highest rate sampling rate possible (>40 kHz) and must be completely self-contained.
