Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a SAP to Carlisle
Research, Inc (CRI) to conduct a study to determine the feasibility of
using the AN/AYK-14 Computer Unit Operating System (CU OS) v109.5
program in its AN/TYQ-23(V)4 Tactical Air Operations Module (TAOM). The
baseline of the subject software was originally developed by Litton
Data Systems under the TAOM/MCE Program and was then significantly
modified by the U.S. Air Force Ground Theater Air Control Systems
(GTACS) Software Consortium (SWC). The study requires a detailed
understanding of the system and performance requirements of the TYQ-23
and an understanding of the software performance specifications and
detailed design of the TYQ-23(V)1, (V)3, and (V)4. The study is
intended to be a joint effort between Litton Data Systems, the
developer of the current software used in the TYQ-23(V)4, and Carlisle
Research, Inc (CRI), the lead developer in the GTACS SWC. Litton Data
Systems' performance on this effort is provided for under an existing
contract. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however,
interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability
for satisfying this requirement. No telephonic requests will be
accepted. Make all requests to the contact person listed above. See
