The project consists of the installation of specialty fuel system high point vent and low point drain piping, rehabilitation of an existing oil/water separator pumps and drain piping, the installation of a fuel transfer line cathodic protection system, painting of the exterior of two 20,000 BBL fuel storage tanks, and concrete work for the containment dike for a single 20,000 BBL tank. Bid documents are available on or about March 11, 1999. Estimated cost of work is between $250,000 and $500,000. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. A limited number of plans and specifications will be printed and will be available on a first come-first serve basis, until supplies are exhausted. Reprints will not be made. Specifications and drawings will not be available after the bid opening date. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is required. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $17,000,000 for the past three years.
